Jasmine Gardosi
Jasmine Gardosi is a multiple slam champion, Birmingham Poet Laureate finalist and winner of the Out-Spoken Prize for Poetry. She uses audience participation, beatboxing and music in order to explore themes of identity, self-expression, LGBTQ issues and mental health. Her work has appeared on Button Poetry, at the Tate Modern, Glastonbury Festival, and across BBC Radio, including Radio 3's The Verb, Radio 4 and Asian Network. A previous BBC Arts Young Creative and Poet in Residence for the Shakespeare Birthplace Trust, she is a current Writer in Residence at the Brontë Parsonage Museum, sits on the Ledbury Poetry Festival Board of Trustees and runs West Midlands Poets’ Place. Her debut pamphlet ‘Hurtz’ is published by Verve Poetry Press.
Robin Lamboll
Dr Robin Lamboll researches climate change and human emissions at Imperial College London, and writes poetry inspired by the intersection between the human and natural world. Robin has won the UK, Vogon and Madrid International poetry slam finals, and came second in the World Cup of Slam in 2019. A TEDx speaker and science-communication consultant, they have been published across the web including Perverse, Experimental Words, Eunoia Review and Consilience. They host FRESH, an ecopoetry open mic night.
